Light falls, leaving darkness to rise
Turning day sweetly into the night
The moon shining so bright, deep within the sky
More stars than numbers, far too many to recognize
And past the stars, the planets, against all time
There is a place we all want
Past the milky way and the galaxies on end, is a place no one has ever really been
So hard to imagine a place kids wish about, building pictures in their mind
A place where even sinners think about sometimes
Not a place created, not a place on high
Just the simplest thing of all, different for everyone inside
It’s a place of happiness, something to call their own
A place no one can ever take away, as they watch it grow
A place for their own escape, a dream
A simple place
